The ground rules for using latestsmp.com and playing on LatestSMP. By using the site or joining the server, you agree to them.
LatestSMP is a Minecraft: Java Edition server and this website, latestsmp.com. LatestSMP is run by whiscey (whiscey.net). "We" and "us" mean LatestSMP; "you" means anyone using the site or the server.
You need to be 13 or older. If you're under 18, you need permission from a parent or guardian to play or to buy anything. You also need your own Minecraft: Java Edition account.
Follow the server rules. They're part of these terms. They cover things like griefing, cheating and exploits, chat, and how to treat other players.
Staff can warn, mute, kick or ban players, and remove builds, items or money, to keep the server fair and safe. We decide based on the rules and our best judgement. If you think a decision was wrong, open a ticket in the Discord. We can refuse access to anyone who breaks these terms or the rules.
You're responsible for what you build, write and say on the server and in our Discord. Don't post anything illegal, hateful, sexual, or that belongs to someone else. You keep the rights to what you create, but you let us show, keep and share it as part of running LatestSMP (for example, in screenshots, world backups or announcements). We can remove anything that breaks these terms or the rules.
In-game money, items, ranks and builds have no real-world value. They aren't your property, and they can't be sold, traded or exchanged for real money or anything outside the game.
PayNow is the Merchant of Record for all purchases: PayNow processes your payment, handles sales tax/VAT and refunds, and emails your receipt. By buying you agree to PayNow's Terms of Service, Privacy Policy and Buyer Agreement. Refunds follow PayNow's policy and the law where you live.
We run the newest snapshots, and things can break. The server may go down, and we may roll back or reset worlds or parts of them, sometimes without much warning. We'll try to announce big changes in the Discord, but we can't promise the server or the site will always be available, or that progress will never be lost.
The site links to and loads things from other services, like Discord and PayNow. We don't run them and aren't responsible for them; their own terms and privacy policies apply.
LatestSMP is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for lost progress, items or money in game, or for any indirect loss from using the site or the server. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have under the law where you live that can't be taken away.
We may update these terms. When we do, we'll change the date at the top. If you keep using the site or the server after a change, the new terms apply.
